Refunds
Updated
The short version
Plans are digital content that starts working the moment you pay, so there is no cooling-off period once access has started. We do refund when the software could not do its job for a meaningful stretch of your plan, and we refund mistakes.
Why there is no cooling-off period
Under EU consumer law a buyer of digital content normally has 14 days to withdraw. That right ends when delivery starts with the buyer's express agreement, which is what the checkbox at checkout asks for ("Start my access now..."). If you do not tick it, you cannot buy; if you tick it, your plan starts at once and the 14 days are waived.
What we do refund
- Double payments and mistakes: paid twice, bought the wrong plan by accident, or charged after a failed checkout. Say so within [[FILL: number]] days and the extra payment comes back.
- Downtime: when the software is marked Down or Updating on the status page for more than [[FILL: number]] consecutive days during a timed plan, you can ask for those days to be added to your plan, or refunded pro rata if you would rather stop.
- Lifetime plans: refundable within [[FILL: number]] days of purchase if the software has not worked on your PC at all and staff could not make it work.
What we do not refund
- A plan you used, in whole or in part, and no longer want.
- A game account that was restricted or banned while using third-party software. That risk is yours, as the terms say.
- Crypto payments beyond the amount actually received, after network fees.
- Payments reversed through your bank or PayPal instead of asking us: a chargeback ends the access it bought and bans the account.
How to ask
Write to [[FILL: contact email or forum link]] with your username and the order number from Account › Plan. Refunds go back the way the money came; card and PayPal refunds show within a few days, manual and crypto refunds are arranged with you.
